Jess Keller Siegrist

Personal Profile

Jess is a Certified Athletic Therapist and Sports First Responder. She specializes in the rehabilitation of athletes and the active community. Jess completed her Hon. Bachelor of Human Kinetics at the University of Ottawa in 2003 and went on to complete the Sports Injury Management Program at Sheridan College in 2005.

In 2006, Jess founded Keller Athletic Therapy, one of only a few athletic therapy clinics in Ottawa at the time. Today, with over 13 years of experience treating the local active population, she is a well-known figure in the Ottawa athletic community.

Jess has also completed the following additional certifications:

  • Soft-Tissue Release & Active Myofascial Release

  • Craniosacral Therapy I & II

  • Muscle Energy Techniques for Lumbar & Cervical Spine

  • Visceral Manipulation

  • Kinesiotaping I & II

  • Custom Knee Brace Fitting

  • Shockwave Therapy

  • TMJ Mastery

Having been a competitive athlete all her life (Hockey, Lacrosse, Taekwondo, Track & Field), and currently still involved with Competitive Dragonboat, Triathlon and Alpine Skiing, Jess has a clear understanding as to what is involved in getting an athlete back on track. In fact, Jess completed her first Half Ironman in June 2013 to prove that a power athlete can train to become an endurance athlete through focus, hard work and dedication, even if the body-type makes for a challenging venture. She's since completed her second Half Ironman and is now a converted distance athlete!

For any patients who don't use English as their primary language, Jess is also fluent in Swiss-German, German, French, and functional Spanish.
