Naturopathic Doctor Alex Keller is Joining Our Team!
We are excited to announce the arrival of Alex Keller to the Keller Athletic Therapy Team on May 1st, 2015!! Alex is Jess Keller's younger brother.
Alex has been interested in health, wellness and the preventative role of alternative medicine since he was very young. Raised by European parents, it was normal that he would use salves, teas and fresh air to cure common ailments as a child, rarely visiting doctors. His perspective on medicine is that every patient is completely unique and, as such, is a blank slate when he or she walks in the door. His undergraduate training in psychology has provided a strong foundation in counseling and he will work with you to bring more awareness into your healing journey. His practice philisophy focuses on the roots of naturopathic medicine, which lie in European nature cure and Oriental medicine, and he is continually researching how to integrate "old medicine" into modern healthcare.
Registered Massage Therapist is Joining Our Team!
We are also excited to announce the arrival of Bree Bouvier to the Keller Athletic Therapy Team on June 1st, 2015!
Bree is the owner of Mind Your Body Registered Massage & Holistic Therapy! She specializes in Deep-tissue work, Craniosacral Therapy, Visceral Manipulation, Myofascial Release and Acupressure. Bree has a strong background in Dance, especially Ballet, Jazz and Tap. In addition to dance injuries, Bree also sustained 3 separate concussions at ages 6, 14 and 18. This series of concussions led to mutiple post-concussion symptoms, one of which was diagnosed as Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD), that at the time were not linked back to the concussions. Once she received her first CranioSacral treatment and began to notice the difference, she knew that she needed to learn how to do this and share the multiple symptom relieving effects with others.

Indians Rugby 50th Anniversary Tour in Scotland
Our very own Jess Keller travelled to Scotland as Athletic Therapist for the Ottawa Indians Rugby Club in November 2012. The Men's Team played against three Scottish Clubs during their 10day Tour. First game was against the Watsonians, the second against Hawick (2hrs away from Edinburgh), and the third game against the Murrayfield Wanderers. They were tough matches for the Canadian lads but lots of fun none the less.
During their stay, they also had the chance to visit the town of St. Andrew's, Sterling Castle, Rosslyn Chapel & Glenkinchie Distillery, as well as attend two Professional Rugby Matches in Edinburgh. First game, Scotland played against the New Zealand All Blacks, and the second game they played against the South African Spring Boks. Overall a truly memorable experience!
